Trump Victories

Documented accomplishments from Donald Trump's first term (2017 to 2021) and second term (2025 to present), sorted by category, plus a scorecard of what he promised on the campaign trail and whether it happened, and research on how the media has covered it all. Every entry links to its sources.

How this was checked

Each accomplishment was researched from primary records (congress.gov, the Federal Register, White House archives, and agencies such as BLS, Census, EIA, CBP and the Pentagon) and corroborated by at least two independent sources, including wire services, major newspapers and nonpartisan fact-checkers. Claims that could not be corroborated were left out. Popular claims that overstate the record are stated here in their accurate form, and short context notes flag items that were later reversed, blocked in court, or remain contested.

Promise ratings are judgments made from the cited reporting: Achieved means done substantially as promised, Partially achieved means real action that fell short or took a modified form, In progress means credible action with the outcome still open, and Not achieved means not done, dropped, or blocked. First-term promises are rated as of January 2021; second-term promises as of .
